Mark Dayton has lent his gubernatorial campaign $2.65 million while receiving $206,000 from other contributors, a summary of his campaign finance report released by his campaign this morning shows.
The campaign’s two best fundraising months were June, in which $63,466 was received and this month through July 19, when $66,045 was received.
He has spent $2.65 million this year.
Deputy Campaign Manager Katharine Tinucci said, "Mark has dedicated his campaign and its resources to meeting with voters from every county in Minnesota, specifically showing how he would address Minnesota's toughest problems, and making it clear where he would lead the state as Governor. All three DFL campaigns have sufficient resources to make their case -- and on August 10th, DFL primary voters will be able to make an informed decision about which candidate will be the best choice to undo the damage done by Tim Pawlenty."
