The latest New Hampshire presidential primary poll results released today by Public Policy Polling includes Gov. Tim Pawlenty, but just barely.

And the pollsters note that while Pawlenty has drawn some attention from political insiders, it clearly isn't translating yet to voters.

Pawlenty said this morning that he's not concered about the low ratings because he hasn't even officially declared yet that he's running for president.

The poll shows Mitt Romney with 31 percent, while Newt Gingrich has 14 percent, Ron Paul — 13 percent, Mike Huckabee — 12 percent, Sarah Palin — 9 percent, Pawlenty — 3 percent and Mitch Daniels -- 1 percent.

Pawlenty does best — 5 percent — with those 46 to 65 years old. He doesn't register at all with the 18-29 set.

The interesting observation from the pollsters:

We get a lot of e-mail asking us to include Tim Pawlenty in all of our 2012 Presidential polling but his numbers here are a reminder of why we aren't — yet. Pawlenty was at 3% in our New Hampshire polling in April and he's still there. He's getting a lot of attention in insider circles as he positions himself for a 2012 bid but it's not translating to the general public enough yet for him to make a real dent in the polls. Pawlenty still has plenty of time to become a serious player for the Republican nomination but his name recognition isn't to the point yet where we'd get much out of including him every month on our national 2012 poll testing match ups against Obama.
