We need your help to tell the story of rural Minnesota as it's experienced by teenagers and young adults. We've created the simple and secure form below for you to share your thoughts and experiences with us.
If you're reading this and you're older than 25 and living in rural Minnesota, pass this link along to somebody you know who might want to be part of our project. We'll be collecting comments from rural youth throughout 2011.
Answer only the questions you feel like answering. We can't wait to see what you have to say.

Glad you are doing this!! One way to help young people stay in rural Minnesota is to actually listen to what they have to say. The next issue of the Rural Minnesota Journal is being written entirely by young people living in rural Minnesota. Can’t wait.

Interesting reading for those who are concerned about the departure of young people from rural areas: Hollowing Out the Middle by Patrick Carr and Maria Kefalas. And some good news about reversing the “brain drain” by Ben Winchester, http://www.extension.umn.edu/U-Connect/components/BrainGain.pdf
