This map locates the major biking trails in the Twin Cities metro area. The videos provide a tour of the popular trails.
1. Gateway Trail
Starts near the St. Paul Capitol and goes to Pine Point Park in Stillwater.

2. Sam Morgan Trail
Goes from Hidden Falls/Crosby Farms Regional Park (Hwy. 5 and Shepard Road) to Battle Creek Regional Park.

3. Big Rivers Trail
Runs along the east side of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers from Pilot Knob Road to Lilydale Road.

4. Minnehaha Trail
Starts at Fort Snelling and continues to Minnehaha Falls.

5. Grand Rounds
The loop around Minneapolis includes the downtown riverfront, the chain of lakes, Victory Memorial Drive, Minnehaha and Theodore Wirth Park.

6. LRT Regional Trail (Cedar Lake LRT/ Minnesota River Bluffs LRT)
Located at the future site of the Southwest Light Rail Transit route, the Cedar Lake LRT Regional Trail runs from France Avenue to Hwy 169. The Minnesota River Bluffs LRT trail continues from Hwy. 169 south to Chanhassen.

7. Midtown Greenway
Runs from West River Parkway (near Brackett Field) to St. Louis Park (Lake Street and Chowen Avenue).

8. Cedar Lake Regional Trail
Runs from 7th Street near downtown Minneapolis to Hwy 100 in St. Louis Park. Then it turns into North Cedar Lake Trail and heads southwest to Hopkins.

9. Luce Line
Consists of three sections. The Luce Line State Trail runs 63 miles from Cosmos to Plymouth. The Luce Line Regional Trail is an 8.8 mile new addition (2 miles are still under construction, but will be completed in 2009) that runs from the end of the state trail into Minneapolis through Theodore Wirth Park. The trail changes ownership when it enters Minneapolis, so the final section of the Luce Line connects Theodore Wirth Park to the Cedar Lake Trail.
