Bill Gates urges Obama to increase aid for global health

Microsoft's Bill Gates is urging President-elect Barack Obama to double U.S. foreign assistance to $50 billion by the end of his first term for global health and other issues. The co-founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation stated Wednesday, "In a crisis, there is always a risk that you take your eyes off the future and you sacrifice long-term investments for short-term gains.
