Obama expected to name Daschle to HHS post today

RTTNews is reporting that President-elect Barack Obama is expected to announce former Senate leader Tom Daschle as his pick to lead Health and Human Services. Daschle's number one issue in the new administration will be health care for Americans. Earlier this month, Obama stated, "Providing quality affordable health care for all Americans is one of my top priorities for this country because our long-term fiscal prospects will have a hard time improving as long as sky-rocketing health care costs are holding us all down."
