MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.

When it comes to hiring, so often it's not what you know but the degree or certification you've obtained that sets you apart. Can I get my PhD on iCollege? Puh-leaze!

Because our book club enjoys fiction so much, I'm getting some push-back on Nicholas D. Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn's "Half the Sky" but OH! what a lot to talk about! The best way to fight poverty and extremism is to educate and empower women and girls. George Clooney is with me on this.

sorry for the double post - missed the autoreply.
Great selection of titles! I've read just a few and I wouldn't say it made me proud to be in a book club - just wanting to be in more (or, at least talk about the books with others who love them as much as I do).
Carr is the quintessential sesquipedalian.
