After the House and Senate go through a "cleansing" in 2012, Governor Dayton will be able to work with his Democratic houses. The GOP does not understand two (2) English words that require simple yet great skill.
Negotiate and Compromise
Wars that the Republicans started and the Democrats can't end. Typical dog chasing its tail. There is no graceful way out of this.
The letter is clearly written by attorneys who have a responsibility to cover all bases and provisions of collective bargaining agreements. I see nothing that appears to be impersonal. It is a distasteful document job well done. These are the hard cold facts of today's world and people better get accustomed to them because there are many more coming down the road before the economics of this great nation are fixed.

How sad it is that the Catholic Church has 16th century leadership in the 21st century.
This is one where our legislators would be wise to listen to their constituents rather than the lobbyists.

It is of great interest that no one has commented on Kersten. It confirms that she is brainless.
Not long ago the Strib was one of the finest in the nation ranking just short of the Washington Post and Des Moines Register. Now it is becoming a replacement for Charmin.
Any candidate who won't make their financial information available clearly is not trustworthy and probably has something to hide.
