If the U,S. District Court doesn't have jurisdiction to hear a law-suit against the Dept. of Homeland Security, Who does?
If the answer is "No one", then we are truly well down the road toward domination by Orwell's Big Brother.
So, who would have standing to sue?
Can I sue the republican leaders for standing in the way of my representatives doing their constitutional duty?
It is WAY PAST time for the legislature to get their collective head out of the sand and START GOVERNING!
Whatever mandate they may have, it most certainly is NOT for shutting down the state in order to protect the top 2 percent.

We ALL (even the self-sufficient rich) benefit from gov't services every day.
Maybe, as a token gesture, we should also close down the toll lanes on I-35 and I-394 with the state shut-down on July 1st.

It is heartening to know that there is still an ADULT in charge of the executive branch of Minnesota government, even if the legislature has regressed to childish games.

PLEASE don't try to put him in the same category as McCarthy, Mondale and Humphrey. They were statesmen, and nobody ever accused Hubert of being boring!

If the USA provides "third world" infra-structure and services, don't you think that we should collect "third world" taxes, too?
If we would stop trying to be the "Super-Cop" for the whole planet, we could pay our bills, educate our kids, support our old people and provide health-care besides.
