MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
What kind of "welcome" did the Irish receive in America?
Gangs of New York may shed some light on that.
The key issue is assimmiliation.
Those who choose not to, or worse, are defiantly opposed to it, should not expect open arms.
To advocate otherwise is simply more PC foolishness, which is proving to be quite a problem for our country at present.
Uh, good luck with that.
Even the lock-step libs in the urban cores are seeing the folly, writ large in their failing schools (ialto) and their non-stop property taxes.
Drew, be careful trying to get Lambert to acknowledge "majority" opinion.
He get very peeved when confronted with evidence of overwhelming support on issues that are contratry to his utopian visions.

Luntz is author of a new best seller titled "Winning", and it's chock full of strategies to help business succeed.
So Walker is, as usual, probably quite correct.
Do you ever feel like there is a complete sea change taking palce around you, Bri?
What I find remarkable, amongst the usual fear-gripped Bachmann bashers, is the fact that we have a sitting POTUS who actually referred to "all 57 states".
I would like you to explain how MN Forward, a pro-business coalition of successful Minnesota businesses and leaders, "meddles in social issues".
Is partial birth abortion a "social issue" in your view?
Wow.
That is one confused consumer.
Again, a business (Target)donating money to a pro-business PAC (MN Forward) is the simple issue here.
Only the garment-rending pro-gay agenda acolytes have managed to work their usual magic and make it all about something entirely different.
Anyone dying of any cause at this age is tragedy enough.
However, the pro-gay agenda will stop at NOTHING to advance it's cause, and "bullying" is their latest spearhead.
It is not the role of Franken or any other elected official to meddle in these types of issues, yet they do solely at the relentless and awful behest of the pro-gay lobby.
I am surprised that people don't understand that these stations have networks of stations statewide to carry their programming.
Goodness, maybe they haven't heard of the interwebs either!

Unbelievable. Your post should provide the exact illumination of the problem that rational Americans are solving, with Walkers leadership, in Wisconsin.
