Cabin Fever the latest pandemic?
You can't get away from it all, and nobody wants to?
A two-seater with moon on the door...complete with broad band.
Why did the bear cross the road and wander into North Mpls. recently...shoot, it was for broad band.
Interconnectiveness is a giant umbilical chord wrapped around the human mind to keep us mutually and collaboratively informed; programmed by the great Info-God bashing creativity like a weak cousin.
footnote;and...
All things have their dark side.
Even wind energy alternatives bring their own invasive species. Pierce County News, Rugby North Dakota,8/13/09...while putting up 71 wind towers for local energy-project, it seems those towers came with unexpected 'visitors'; giant Black Widow spiders, the size of a fifty cent piece. Oodles of them and those finally getting jobs, good wages building a wind farm, now have to watch their back, or the back of their neck.
Maybe they could freeze-dry...
Never Vote For a Pretty Face:
So now it could be metro mayors running for gov?
Where to begin...first these two will have to strip off suits and ties. Buy a nice, plaid shirt. Even blue will do. Rub a little cow dung on their Wellingtons. Smear a wee bit of mine soot on their faces, and head for the Iron Range.
Let's hope Greater Minnesota will recognize these two action figures as city boys with a toy train whistle understanding of the needs of Greater Minnesota, as...
Get the picture:
Visualize...if Mpls-Lake Harriet were developed to the water's edge, and in order to walk those old walking paths, once a natural part of the city's park system, you were restricted because you would be 'disturbing'the privacy
of "what's this"... a new row of houses or condo development lapping at the water's edge?
One could say the City of Duluth; or more directly the Planning Commission, is either ignorant or arrogant; or arbitrarily compromising;...
It's a depressing story Grow has documented here as analyzed by the attendant veteran political voices...voices that essntially say strategy defines policy and strategy-to-win means keep in the middle of the road.
Moderation becomes the Winner-god for either major party and if a third party wants to win, it would have to run down the middle aisle.
That is the reality? Well, sounds like we're stuck in political purgatory where candidate hopefuls whatever their initial ideas;...
'Is this all there is?..."
I do wonder if Grow is pulling a spoof here...and this story is actually preemptive script for another Coen Brothers film..."IS THAT ALL THERE IS?"
Skepticism is one powerful quality in a journalist; and certainly there is a need for cynicism to survive with or without some or all of our nukes. My great Aunt Berta would say "Obama means well" whatever the outcome. And one could say "at least he tried"..which doesn't say much either, however...
The village where I spent my formative years is now a hotbed of buried nuclear warheads. And plains telegraph tells me the prairie dogs and meadowlarks are cheering Obama on with some...
"Hospital staff gets helicopter training for newborns"
So I'm thinking....pre-school education is a positive bonus in any progressive society...but on-the-job training, just out of the womb?
Maybe it's the weather but couldn't let that headline 'fly' by...
Take what we can get I suppose...
Franken and Klobuchar delivered to the people not exactly a power lunch; but initially, it certainly was a neat idea. Call it a progressive lunch; porridge and potiza served in the offices of our good senators.
Down home comfort food indeed.
But there was a third bowl on the menu- health care policy...and that's the dish with a slightly bitter taste.
Once-upon-a-campaign-time it was Universal Health Care; even single-payer plans...
The domino effect of killing a person, a group, a nation, escalates downwards as one justifies killing a child and another child; ambush a wedding party...all called 'collateral damage' in the time of war - you become an enemy to every man, woman and child beyond, in and outside of the borders you attacked for whatever reasons, for everybody fears you now and the 'enemy' becomes a collective term, those lands ever growing...then why not wave a flag over all those 'digressions' such as...
