MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.

When Obama wins the election, Swiftee, it will be a reflection on the pitiful quality of the current GOP candidates. Can you say RomneyCare?
And of course upon close reflection Perry will go the way of your old friend Michelle Bachmann.
Perhaps you should change your focus and go into political cartooning?
Unfortunately for you, Swiftee, people are becoming aware of the dirty little secret:
Republicans have long tried to drive Democratic voters away from the polls. "I don't want everybody to vote," the influential conservative activist Paul Weyrich told a gathering of evangelical leaders in 1980. Right, Paul. Thanks.
Too bad you can't edit your comments, but I can see where that might lead to problems.
Barbara, is of course right.
But I did want to use the same word that Mr. Swift had. I should have quoted him.
It is nice to post on a site where most of the commenters are intelligent.
I submitted a comment with a link to your smutty cartoon of Mr. Swift.
Apparently this didn't pass muster with the comment police.
That's OK, though. You are having an attack of amnesia. To recover, Google:
Examples of Swiftee's artwork
Bingo!
You're welcome.
The problem that Swiftee and other constitutional conservatives, e.g. Bradlee Dean, have is that there AREN'T very many enumerated powers.
Certainly not Social Security or disaster relief.
And yet, even President Bush realized that federal disaster relief is perceived by the electorate to be desirable.
“The president [Bush] wants to travel to California to witness firsthand what the people there are going through with these wildfires,” White House press secretary Dana...
