... I was certainly not make light of an incident as awful as this. But reading through the guy's priors I'd like to know how such a couple got together -- not just to date -- but marry. The victim appears to have been an otherwise competent adult. Low self-esteem? Depression? Or did he somehow manage to avoid disclosing his heinous past? If so, how did he pull that off? What do her friends and family have to say?Again, my apologies ... .
David: First, I want to say how pleased I am that YOU are doing this stuff.
That said ... what do we know about actual audience size station by station compared to say 10 years ago, or pre iPod?
I remember having a conversation with some consultant years back who explained that "early adapters" were going to erode audience first and most from young-targeted pop stations and tech-savvy "news" stations, or more precsely networks like NPR, with lots of podcast-worthy...

In view of her extraordinarily high national profile, and as a leader of arguably the most raucous new political movement of the moment she requires near constant coverage. On top of that is the sad fact -- as David Brauer notes in his column today -- that the local Twin Cities' "major" press hasn't exactly worked up a sweat pointing out...
Let me diagram my joke about Tony Sutton and the RINO "quislings": If, (A), Mr. Sutton seems completely unaware of the Nazi connection in calling fellow Republicans "quislings", then is it possible that(B)he really did mean Ozment, Jennings, et al were not ... loyal Nazis? In other words, how ill informed is he?
Oh, good lord. Here's a humor diagram for the hopelessly literal-minded. A: I make lousy prediction. B: Some newspaper employee calls me on it. C: Old buddy Brauer e-mails to good-naturedly dog me about it. D: I cop to this lousy prediction being maybe the best prediction I've ever made. E: I offer disclaimer that what comes next is "All-Snark", as in haplessly grasping for some semblance of credibility. And then finally, F: The papers aren't really papers at all anymore, inferring I...
