Romney/Refreshing Authenticity 2012
IF this idea was extended to evaluating school boards with the data, the equally logical step would be to use the same to evaluate the legislature, which has been increasingly micromanaging schools.
I agree with Rob above in the portion where he says the the tests are being misused. Remember the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills, where student progress was tracked individually from year to year in several areas, and results were used to guide attention from school and teacher? And not used...
Gay marriage is a conservative idea that was gradually and in many cases grudgingly accepted by people on the political left.
Let's keep our solutions market-based. The poll tax on absentee ballots should just be higher than on voting in person.
This is from the Wikipedia biography of Pope Benedict, in the section titled Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith: 1981-2005:

"you people"?
Your assertion may be true. The conservative/liberal divide is quite clumsy as a means of analyzing viewpoints. I generally consider myself a conservative and it is easy to list a few conservative principles that prompt my strong opposition to the amendment.

Since there is purportedly a review process in place how did this "Am I missing something?" comment get published, given the significant amount of stupidity and pointlessness relative to its length? And to answer the subject title's question, yes you are missing something.
You make a good point, one that would still be a good one with an accurate description of Ann Romney's health history relative to her child-raising history. From Wikipedia:
"Ann was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998 and has credited a mixture of mainstream and alternative treatments with giving her a lifestyle mostly without limitations...
In 2008, she was also diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a non-invasive type of breast cancer. She underwent a...
Re: "super-secretive, super-conservative". ALEC is corporatist and by extension Republican, but not conservative. If there were any significant number of conservatives in the Republican party anymore there would be an open and loud Republican critique of the intent and the secrecy of some of the specific ALEC initiatives being pushed in MN, if not of the entire organization and its members.
