Good article. I'm sure there was a bit of gamesmanship going on with Goodwin's amendment, but it points out how hypocritical, sanctimonious, and "entitled" this GOP-led legislature is. Their health care coverage is just as much a drain on taxpayers as MinnesotaCare, so why not impose the voucher system on themselves? As part-time legislators, they make at least twice what the people on the lower end of the MinnesotaCare eligibility group make. If it's too costly for them, then it's...

Even Horner refuses to commit to raising sales taxes on the types of services that wealthy people use (lawyers services,...
Agree with the first comment, although I think Norm's been on lower moral ground before! Classic obfuscation strategy, but anyone who actually sees the ad will have to wonder what Norm is even talking about.
None of this surprises me, as Norm is a shameless self-promoter. Sort of wish the lawsuit had been filed earlier, as it could very possibly have some legs to it...
It's a fine line the candidate walks when trying to inject humor into the political "debate." I think Franken's right - you have to pick your spots. But I think he could run a series of ads poking fun at some common Bushisms and then adding the "What's not funny is Norm Coleman's support of Bush's [fill in the blank]." The more Coleman runs from the Republicans' record, the more Franken needs to nail him with it.
