I wonder how many men have been charged and said "but she told me she was 18..." It is not a defense.
Larry Craig was charged with lewd or indecent conduct, without ever getting any sex. This guy admitted and had the boy confirm it, yet no charges. Seems like being a former council member and DFL rep may have helped a little bit. I hope the previous poster is correct and that there will be someone else in that seat next year. Gay, straight or whatever, a 56 year old with a 17...
Why do we feel we have to take this very flawed deal? Why is nobody willing to tell the Wilfs they need to come up with more cash to make it a real deal? None of the money they supposedly contribute to the deal comes from them. The NFL puts a bunch in, the naming rights get used, and seat licenses get contributed. Where's Ziggi's contribution? He will clearly make several hundred million dollars on the deal, why not put something in and get it done?
