Ok, I'm all for cleaning up the air however I am not for misrepresenting a situation. These photos look doctored to me. Here is why: the effect of a haze increases with distance because its increasing density increasingly obstructs/reflects light. A haze is imperceptible at a close distance and will increasingly obstruct vision as distance increases until nothing is visible. The bottom line here is that either we accept copper-nickel mining with the latest technology, strictest environmental/labor laws in the world, under the supervision of the best engineers, and with the blessing of the EPA, MPCA , DNR, ACOE etc.or we quit using all the products that are derived from mining in these deposits.
