The public face of this stadium push just keeps getting uglier. Stadium pushers are really nasty. They think Minnesota is worthless except for the Vikings. If they slid a stadium through at some point without this struggle, I wouldn't have thought much about it. Yep. This is why I don't put bumper stickers on my car. That the local pols would roll over for the NFL has never been in doubt. The posturing is therefore even more sickening. I would just prefer they name their price right off and forget the "people's stadium", "public interest", "investment in the future" crap. That's the condescending part.

I just registered here. But I kept reminding ppl at the Strib board that there has never been- nor is there now- the slightest possibility...
