If education was not lacking priority status in funding so badly that student/teacher ratios and the need to get as much information assimilated as quickly as possible, it is little wonder why so many (mostly) high school students feel the need to grab hold of whatever is available to them just to keep their heads above water trying to keep up, not to mention get ahead, when they know how volitile the competition is for good paying jobs, or succumbing to the overwhelming pressure placed on...

Judge Askegaard, when he was an attorney, represented us in a personal injury case. His compassion and drive to go above and beyond what was expected of him will never be forgotten. I just now saw this article about his appointment as Judge of the 9th district, and I can tell you from experience that you will never find a more fair and level person to fill that position than Erik Askegaard. Congratulations, Your Honor!
