For three summers I laid cable, gas lines, and posts. I was quite strong. For the life of me I cannot see how a woman's body unless she is an elite athlete can do this kind of work, shoveling and raking 4-6 hours per day. You can google ergonomic studies on spade work and why shovels are designed the way they are.

Actually in my view if government was divinely ordained perhaps to provide order and security perhaps we need to depend less on oil and especially foreign oil. That would also maximize our personal freedom having more options.
