Casey Selix -- Thank you for an interesting interview! I agree with Mary Brainerd that a nonprofit health insurance system has worked well for Minnesota. I wish it were possible to replicate the HealthPartners model (member-owned, incentives to get healthy and stay healthy, 2% "profit", low administrative costs) in every state of the union.
Bernice, I really do not understand your objections. The Exchange is a way for individuals to get group rates. As the story states, "insurers cannot deny coverage based on a person's health". It sounds like a big step forward, and as a self-employed person with no health insurance, I wish it were available here.

At that time, the provincial parks closed at the end of August but you could still camp in them. I remember spending the night at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park just outside of Thunder Bay. The park was deserted except for a fox and raccoon, who waited impatiently for us to settle ourselves so they could raid our supplies. I'm sure the tent trailer's...
Actually, it's more like lack of information in the article. The plan all along has been to place a "grand central" of transportation connections right next to the Twins stadium. That way, fewer people will drive their cars to Twins games. The County Board and the Metro Council now have to figure out how to make it easy for people to switch from one train to the other without getting run over. This doesn't need a building -- LRT riders board their trains outdoors. This does need...
Very nice! I knew Keith was acting as Congress's "Muslim ambassador", but this series of articles gives me a more complete picture.
