I received the same "little funny clip" from someone on Facebook (I wouldn't call him a friend). I suggested that perhaps the rest of us should give up our mortgage interest deductions, child tax credits, etc., so as to not "grow dependent" on government.

One of my favorite Tom Keith comedy bits didn't involve sound effects. On the old MPR "Prairie Home Morning Show," he and Keillor used to do fake commercials for St. Paul businesses. One of these was a breakfast theater, where downtown office workers could have breakfast and catch a show on their way to work. But to get people to work on time, the shows had to be shortened a little. For example, in the Breakfast Theater version of "My Fair Lady," Eliza Doolittle could speak perfect English...
