MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
And Ray's comments are nothing more than eight paragraphs of hateful name-calling, character assassination and strawman arguments that never get around to debunking or disagreeing with anything Bachmann's ever actually said.
Which is why so many readers here liked it, I guess.
Require all city employees to live in the city and county employees to live within the county. We're paying salaries and benefits to people who choose to live elsewhere. Bring back the residency requirement.
With the recent spate of violent flash mob incidents going on back east that appear to be committed entirely by black youth, perhaps you picked a bad time to try to make your argument, such as it was.
But why did you try to drag Obama into this discussion? Obama has as much to do with black culture as I do. Maxine Waters tried to make the point this week that Obama's latest listening tour avoided the inner cities where they're suffering from twice the unemployment rate than the...
Like most college campi, Macalester was conservative until the late sixties. The change came when those who had sought shelter from military service by becoming long-term students began getting hired to fill faculty positions.
As the nation's faculties became infested with tenured lefties, and while conservatives preferred to move on to earn an honest living in the real world, academia became an impenetrable bastian of leftist thought, spewing their nonsense to unsuspecting skulls...

It would be nice to have an open and honest public debate about the role God plays in a free society and whether or not it's a good thing that our political leaders have strong religious beliefs, or none as is the case with Obama.
Maybe the press will make a point to explore that angle during the presidential debates. Don't hold your breath.
Yeah, because as business people, we hate the idea of customers coming in and interrupting our day.
Recent history shows that 60% of women vote democrat and 40% vote republican.
The reverse is true of men.
The primordial and maternal instincts of the female gender that cause them to seek shelter in a collective and gravitate to those who promise to protect their young, has influenced their choice for political leadership since they were given the right to vote in 1920.
The founding fathers recognized that these priorities were antithetical to a free society, where men...
Bachmann's biggest enemies are liberal men and gays, if I'm not being redundant.
How would Kathy Griffin know what a comedian's dream is? Is she speculating?
Too bad the press wasn't as eager to share Obama's record with us in 2008. Oh wait ... he didn't have one.
