My question is what was the impetus for including this info? I find it hard to believe they wouldn't already be providing this to advertisers.
Sounds to me like MinnPost should start a Your Voices-type community blog.
I have to disagree that "the chase" in this case is death of printed college media. The Minnesota Daily cut the Friday edition because most U students don't have Friday classes, which means no one picking up the paper and no advertising demand. (Back when I spent my Thursday nights editing and laying out the Friday Daily I always had a sense that it was all for naught.)

Up to five copy editors? I'm not surprised, but disappointed. Credibility is the only currency newspapers have, and copy editors are the protectors there of.
