Republicans believe that every Minnesotan has the right to marry a gay person as long as that person is of the opposite sex.
The anecdote I prefer is the one where a bunch of unemployed manufacturing workers are in a bar. Bill Gates walks in and the bartender shouts "Drink up! On average we're all suddenly millionaires!"
Seems Coleman is hoping to run out the clock. If he can win the election that way, even if he is forced to resign, he'll be replaced by someone appointed by Tim Pawlenty. That seems to be his strategy. In by a strange tragedy, out by a bizarre scandal, but the seat preserved for the Republicans in both cases.
