Glad to see the reporter pointed out that the bridge project is referred to as the “Bachmann Boondoggle.” Never mind that Senator Amy Klobuchar is also a very strong supporter of this project.

It would be nice to ready a story from a "jouralist" about Bachmans plans for the U.S. economy, health care, energy...rather her knowledge of John Wayne's birthplace, Elvis's birthday or that a women might have a temper.

# 10 Paul Scott says: "I think we ought to learn as much as possible about the personal qualities of all persons seeking higher office"

Guess that Obama's cocaine habit didn't bother you.

#27 TJ and #32 M Holt. Thank you for your posting on her positions. Its to bad that most don't know her positions other than her knowledge of John Wayne birthplace and Elvis's birth date.

Rebecca and little less Greg,

Thank you for pointing out that this is the Republicans doing. Of course jobs will be union jobs and we know unions are all Republicans as well. So it is all the Republicans doing. Now Obama can take credit for providing jobs to northern Minnesotans.

Now lets spend an equal amount of time analyzing Obama's performance. Enough about Palin and Pawlenty.

#15 Rachel, according to Politifact.com Obama has kept 27% of his promises. Is that something to be proud of?

You pretty much are able to tell which side of the aisle each poster sit in. Including the writer. To each is own I guess.

If Betty really wants to do at least one thing while in office how about not using public money to build professional stadiums. To go after a NSCAR sponsorship is ridicules.

I wouldn't be assuming that player salaries will be increasing 5% a year seeing the owners have locked out the players to....lower player salaries.

Also you say...Sales tax collections WITHIN the new stadium, including liquor, are pegged at $5.3 million per year, with a 3 percent increase annually.

I wonder what the price of a beer will be?
