You failed to mention "Surfin' Bird" was featured -- throughout the entire show -- in an episode of "Family Guy." A rare honor, and opportunity to introduce it to a new audience of young people.

Why hasn't anyone interviewed Bob (Robert McGregor) Shaw about the demise of the News Council? He founded the council and was executive director of the Minnesota Newspaper Association at the time.

Every day I find errors in the Strib -- human errors, not “computer glitches.” In addition to accuracy, it’s critically important that news media deliver information that isn’t ambiguous or difficult to understand. Errors cause confusion and diminish a news medium’s credibility. The Strib needs all the credibility it can get.
