Why are the Voter ID advocates unable (or unwilling?) to grasp the well documented fact that released felons HAVE ID'S and this proposed amendment does nothing to stop them from voting? Everyone has the right to their stance on the Voter ID amendment issue, but don't continue to incorrectly use "stop felons from voting" as an argument as a convince people to support your position.

Seriously, P McGee? The comment reeks of sour grapes and over-zealous political correctness. A Viking fan brings the beer in, not Rybak. I could take or leave the new stadium, but geez! Focus on the legitimate stadium bill issues. Not this!

Hardly a "huge Republican victory," #9, as the mix of Democratic governor with Republican legislature meant mostly impasse during the session, in case you did't notice. The sudden surplus is a surprise to everyone, or did I miss a Republican Party surplus prediction news conference? It only goes to show that revenue projections aren't an exact science. Either party taking credit for this would not only be presumptuous but pretentious, as well.
