MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
For our trust-fund governor it's all take and no give.
Best wishes! Take care of yourself and hurry back. Reading your blog is 90 pct. of my time on MinnPost.
These awards really don't mean anything to those outside the media community. It's kind of hard to get folks excited over in-house baseball.
I have NEVER watched Fox News. But I certainly agree with what Mr. Edwards posted.
I have little respect for Trump and certainly wouldn't give him my vote. But the liberal/conservative double standard is in full view in this publication.
Sorry, Nick: I was just trying to yank your chain and I pulled to hard. I apologize for coming across as insulting you.
I rarely agree with your political positions, but I do respect you.
By the way, since I worked evenings, I doubt that we ever met in a cafeteria line.
Now there's the Nick I knew and enjoyed.
Nick Coleman isn't an unbiased observer in this situation. He spent a very large portion of his newspaper life with the St. Paul papers. He has significant roots in St. Paul and still lives there, where his family has played a large role in local and state politics. And he has never been shy in showing his disdain for one city over the other.
Rohn Jay Miller (#5): There is a significant flaw in your comments. In each of those metro pairings you cited, one city dominates the other.
Jim,(#6), I like bursting your partisan bubble, and he is dealing with partisan politics.
