MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.

Thomas: Shuffled off to Norway? I thought he went to Denmark to be with a new wife, from whom, I think,he is now divorced. Is he on wife No. 3?
According to a TV commercial, Michele Bachmann wants to wean people off of Social Security. Does she also want to wean members of Congress off of their cushy pensions?
Don, did you take Fr. Whalen's Critical Writing class? He liked "12 Angry Man" and every year showed it to the students for them to write a review.
Ray, you are kind to refer to Beau Jim as wide-stanced. I thought he was bow-legged. Someone told me that his position is supposed to indicate he's macho.
Paul said that Entenza "comes across as too much of a white food Norwegian (read bland)." His wife must be very proud of that fact because more than once on Facebook she has commented about speaking Norwegian in rural Minnesota.
I am old and, like many other senior citizens, I support Mark Dayton because he and his ideas are good for the people, including old people.
It is good that Tom Hauser is moderator; he is Minnesota's premier political reporter.
Yes, Al: John Cow's is not the real John Coal's. I think there was a U of M basketball Coach Cowles, and he was Cow's.
Maybe Dave Lee connects with a lot of listeners because he connects with their language -- i.e., lots of errors, grammar and otherwise. His ramblings about the University of St. Thomas amuse me. I guess he's supposed to sound like he's conversing rather than delivering a commercial message. This morning he ended his spiel by referring to the University of St. Paul.
If you want to run for political office in Minnesota, it helps if your name is Anderson. Or Andersen or Andreson, etc.
