It is already over!
...
The rich and the radical religious right(Bishops and MCCL) have won and we are now witnessing a debate over how much they can stick it to the "beast" they have conquered.
...
The only people you hear talking about compromise are the losers who could not stick together and fight for what they believe( if they truly do). When the winners talk of taking this country back they mean...back to pre-1914...stay tuned.

He lied and I fell for it. This is a bigger downer than Clinton!

Please protect the rich from a progressive income tax. Leave all the tax credits and deductions as they are because even millionaires need new boats and pick up trucks. Tax credits for corn scams should remain off the chopping block. Please don't cap all public pensions at $100,000 per year...think of the starving politicians who are already collecting on their first public pensions!
Thank you to the MCCL for electing these fine republicans and creating the fine mess!(Your cor[porate...

He deserves every honor he gets. While he was way too conservative for me, he was a force for good in the area of transportation and a pretty great aid to the environment.

As a pro-business environmentalist I'd like to point out that under this new process the Polymet proposal would have been doing business and ignoring all impacts on the environment. The project was approved by state agencies and rejected by the EPA and sent back for review.

I want lots of sustainable jobs and a place that is as good years from now as it is today!

All this to save the richest Minnasotans from a progressive income tax and "starve the beast" in preparation for privitization.

Thank the churchs and their voters for the service to the rich. So much for Christ-like behavior.

Here's your brand..."greatest good for greatest number"...If you said you didn't think the focus should be on the group...farmers, business, rich, poor, but rather on the policies that provide the greatest good for the greatest numbers, you might have something....instaed of "taxes good" or "taxes bad", you might ask what policy will provide the services needed by the people of the state and balance our books...if you can't get to a point that you are able to stand for fiscal responsibility...

Posted on 02/02/11 at 05:17 pm in response to 'Green Acres' law a case study in complexities of good intentions

Green Acres sounds better than tax dodge.

Most of the remaining undeveloped lakeshore in MN is taxed at Ag rates(about 1/4 the rate of homesteads) and is just sitting as investment property. The land was taken from the native north americans and the state should pay the current owners the current tax assessed value and give it back to the original tribes to protect.

Almost a demonic title...does the author support dictatorships that use force and torture while living like royalty?

Posted on 02/02/11 at 09:45 am in response to Target Center renovation: How to pay for it remains a mystery

We could continue our regressive tax system and save the rich from their burdens. Close a few parks, raise a few fees and add a few cents to the sales tax....or how about ...it is reported to vbe "good for business"...increase corporate taxes to pay for it!

Hey, I'm just kidding about taxing the "business" it is good for. How about a surtax on all property owners(statewide of course)...each parcel could pay an extra $18.00 and we'd have it done and have many new amenities for the...
