Even with the free ID, it still cost Jay's mother $31.00 to get the paperwork in order. That, my friend, is an unconstitutional poll tax.
Even with the free ID; if an older person has no ID right now, and has to get the paperwork, it costs money for a copy of a birth certificate (if there is one), and a marriage license. Once you charge someone to be able to vote, it is a poll tax.

Greene is also a lame duck. She was redistricted into a district with Rep Hornstein. When she lost the endorsement, she dropped out of the race.

Both parties were in the majority in 2005 when the Twins baseball bill was passed. There was a GOP majority in the house and a DFL majority in the senate.

One question on vouching.
Vouchers have to sign when they vouch. Has any voucher ever been charged with fraud?
Danie, it is nice to see that the GOP is trying to increase employment in the DVS. 12,000 IDs is a lot to process.
