Deaths outnumber births because so many Minnesotans just can't force themselves to bring a child into the world that has to live in such an oppresive state as Minnesota.

A woman brought a criminal complaint and then withdrew it after facing outside pressure, so that's an indication of Sharia law? If that's all the evidence required, then Sharia law has been present in domestic abuse courts for decades.

Bill, even though you give an example, you fail to acknowledge the distinction between the people who decide to fight wars and those who do the actual fighting. Wars are a nasty affair, but to pretend they aren't necessary is a fantasy. And the ugly business Chris Kyle was involved in was necessary and, yes, heroic. I'd agree with you that the wars in Viet Nam and Iraq were huge mistakes, but that doesn't diminish the work of those who served.

Explain to me why your military service entitles you to these tax breaks? As noted, we have a society to run here and it costs money to do so. Who would you like to pick up the tab for your relief? While we appreciate your military service, where do we draw the line on benefits? Just like any profession, you knew what the rules were when you signed up. Or is there no end to all the benefits we throw at people in "honorable" careers?

Actually HInderaker got this one right. Police relations with minorities is a serious problem in this country (see Arena WI), but this wasn't one of those cases. I just shake my head at all the people who conveniently ignore the actions of Mr. Brown.

Jay Kolls told me so.

...you can't change the game before doubling down! The game is called "Is the Mayor flashing a gang sign", not "what's the character of the guy she's with?" The last thing Hubbard, Delmonico and Kolls want to do is get into a character contest. That wouldn't go well for them.

OK Weekly Standard, I was buying your bit until this...."Along with former U.S. Senator Rudy Boschwitz, Kline is one of the most respected and well-liked political figures in the state.” Boschwitz wouldn't even be on the first page, single spaced.
