Another classic column, Max.

And hey! I have actually done some things I read about in this column.

Hi Max.

The cereal boxes in that photo seem to be Kellogg's products. More realistic depictions would show more General Mills' products.

I think the Metrodome collapse put it on the AMA do-not-use list.

Nice essay, Max. I impatiently awaiting season 5!

I don't disagree with your comments on Pete Campbell, but after a while some other aspects of Pete reveal themselves. The big one is he is the only person in a happy, stable relationship. Also, I like how he was aware early on that the youth market would be key, and he was genuinely puzzled when clients didn't want to advertise for Blacks and Hispanics.

And you probably knew Vince Kartheiser is from MN.

Have been planning to see The Guard! Have you seen The General? Excellent Gleeson film.

Had you made no mention of where you met I wouldn't have wondered where you met. But "undisclosed warehouse space" piques the curiosity. Sneaky.

I hope they DO make a Hawkeye film, and hope they get Alan Alda to play him.

Weren't there other Hogwarts-y schools? Waiting for fan fiction about those. Like the East LA location, or the one in Polynesia.

A close friend in college wrote some Margaret Atwood fan fiction. Margaret Atwood! Follow up to Cat's Eye. It was great.

I love "Airport" so much. I'll have to watch that again. I love Airport 75 even better. Has nothing to do with Minnesota, but it does have Charlton Heston jumping from one airplane to another, mid-flight, to save the day.

Agree about the greatness of both Etsy and Regretsy.

You had me with just the photo & caption.
