Nice of the AP to pick up the WCCO story on Delta, and for you too Brian. Here's Liz Collin's original work: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2012/05/15/2-same-flights-2-different-pric...

That's the magic of hair spray and Toppik.

That is a BRILLIANT idea! I'd love to see your picture, next to mine, at some of our mid-level restaurants.

The Chicago games are broadcast on WGN which is also a cable superstation, so it's not exactly the same thing as being on Channel 29 or 45 here in the Cities.

I see absolutely no danger in you taking part in this working group. You will provide input, legislators will approve the rules.

I don't see this as much different from speaking at a convention (those people often have an agenda) or at a community meeting. You are being open with your involvement, and I see it as all positive.

Gregory- online ads don't fall under the law that requires federal candidates to approve the message.

The statue is really fun. Like MTM, people are going to love it.

In a hyper-partisan era when you'll never get consensus to build a statue of someone like Paul Wellstone... we're left with icons like Sid. Which isn't all bad, frankly.

All the public is doing is allowing the thing to sit on the sidewalk. It's not like we're paying for it.

Tim told me in my Good Question segement the other night that he would oppose the Mary Tyler Moore statue's advertising: http://wcco.com/goodquestion/statue.sid.hartman.2.1865400.html

I would guess that rent/real estate costs are the major driver of cost here, not the wages being paid to employees.

Anyway, Olive Garden doesn't care about the tip credit or not because of it's massive size. It's the single or double restaurant that cares, because the extra wage they're paying is significant relative to their bottom line.
