MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
Contra Erick, dispite he's scare quotes around "Socialist", and all his Rwallsians: Justice ain't "Fairness" no mater how you slice it. And btw there isn't anything "...Wrong With KS."
As MLK said "Longevity has it's place" and in this case a 'place of honor' if only for 65 productive years.
Sid, your are what we kids (I'm 67) call a PITA sometimes but we go back over 55 years, when I was the ball-boy for the Syracuse Nats and you were the GM of another team.
BTW you had nothing to do with the 24 second clock (as you assert.)That was introduced via Danny Biasone the then owner of the Nats. Other than that minor 'mistake' you've been "Right On" all these years...
Kinght Ridder AND Hubbard Broadcasting? You would think even a curmudgeon could catch a break occassionally. Poor guy. He can't be making enough coin to justify a quarter century with those two families/outfits.
Well it's a Fri. afternoon the sun is out and the "scramble" awaits.
Good Luck......and I mean that in the most positive way.
Re: # 8 young Master Carlton:
Obviously I read MinnPost occasionally. MinnPost is via SUBSCRIPTION only. The reason one "uses" a Spam folder is to seperate the 'wheat from chaff'. That's not really that difficult a concept is it?
I also occasionally eat my spinach. Not because I particularly like to but because I understand it just might do me some good. But thanks for your observation anyways.
Imagine my suprise. A good informative column on a Republican that wasn't a hit piece and or snarky by Doug Grow.
I'll probably never contribute a nickle to MinnPost but if they keep this up I might just remove them from my Spam folder.
Of course 'Mine That Bird' had better odds than the above happening anytime soon.
Eric: You state "Coleman, by the way, attributed Paulose's problems to the management issue" with a link to what I suppose is your source/reason for that allegation. However, the link doesn't work. It's either defective or removed. Short of my contacting Coleman's office could you verify Coleman's attribution please ? Thanks
