Posted on 04/09/14 at 02:02 pm in response to What critics of Obama's foreign policy don't say

This reads to me as more of another hatchet job on anyone republican. Clearly democrats in this state fall into one of two classes. Either you are a knowledgeable democrat who knows the party platform and can recite it on demand, or you are a long family tenured historical democrat: Ie you are one because your parents told you that you are!

Lets cut to the chase. This is about power and control. Clearly something that is being attempted by this administration. Kerry clearly does not...

Home schooling now is the rule. You will soon see many pulling their kids out of public schools in favor of home schooling. This of course won't be missed out with "tit for tat". The communist legislators will retaliate with legislation mandating this garbage be handled in home schooling too..... Just watch.

I like the fact that you gave this sign even the modest write that you did here. It shows you folks are paying attention. I think the failure rate is much worse than the sign depicts however. The Columbia Heights school district failed all three of my kids and had the audacity to blame it on a broken home---where both parents still reside and are completely intact!!! Things like catching math teachers that can't teach math!!!.. Silly stuff like that.

Lets begin to stop with all the...

Posted on 01/09/14 at 12:16 pm in response to Minnesota Tea Party gaining supporters, but has little political clout

Reading not only the story but then the subsequent postings here really tells me a lot about the reader here. This "rag" if you will isn't much different than City Pages and some of the others on here that are very left wing. The best that I've seen so far is "left leaning" but seems that everyone on here despises all people who are conservative. This makes you out to be something not very attractive.

Please; show me where in life a job is guaranteed to you?
Please; show me...

Posted on 05/21/13 at 10:03 am in response to Sequestration is imperiling scientific research — and economic growth

The fact is that this country boomed through private industry. During wartime, private industry contracted with government to provide the war efforts. This was not government. This was private capital.

This bothers me: "Scientific research, supported by all of us, is one of the best ways to ensure that our nation hosts the next transformative high-tech industry. That would indeed be a powerful answer to our problems."

This tells me that you are very much FOR an all government...

I have it on very good authority that this will be challenged in the upcoming weeks, and will be forced out by the courts as being unconstitutional. So; what will happen next. Is Dayton going to try and pull an Obama and "executive order" the law into existence or are they going to come to the realization that this is not what the people want?

About half of them, are supplementing their drug or alcohol habit. The other half might be legit or variations on a theme.

I am supporting my brood and I keep working. I am not on welfare or assistance, and won't do it. I have been able to find other work even in a down market. So, I see problems in a lot of these and they aren't *my* problems.

Lastly; how's that Obama/Biden vote working for you??!

Chechan Muslim rebels. And the lame stream media isn't reporting that because it's contrary to Obama's agenda.

Posted on 04/19/13 at 10:45 am in response to Trouble ahead: Justices’ rulings on gun rights raise thorny questions

I'm amazed at how many communists actually live here in Minnesota. I've personally ran into a few and had dialog with them. They actually believe Communism will win out and take over America.

The 2nd amendment is a "glue" to the rest of the constitution. It is the binder. For without it, we American people have no "teeth" against a ruthless tyrannical dictatorial government should that come to fruition.
As many of you seriously WANT a full repeal of the 2nd amendment and...

They looked at this issue in the 1930s but the idea waned in favor of other things to try and collapse only the economy and subvert rather than through a sometimes referenced as "military" style means of subversion. Remove the peoples ability to defend themselves, and they become much easier to get into compliance, or elimination.
