Very funny. I thought I was reading a Jean Shepherd piece -- had to keep scrolling up to the masthead to remind myself that it was you writing of Detroit and football, not Chicago and baseball.
I'm stocking a couple of Vernor's Ginger Ale six packs in the cooler in case Monday's shake up flops on Sunday. I learned about Vernor's one hot summer while living on East Grand Boulevard. It's the champaign of malaise and could work as well here has it had in Detroit.
