MinnPost is a nonprofit, nonpartisan enterprise whose mission is to provide high-quality journalism for news-intense people who care about Minnesota.
Donations and pledges totaling $25,000 or more have been made by each of the families and foundations listed. For a list of all donors by category, see our most recent Year End Report.
Sen. Parry has not exactly proven himself to be of great intellect over the course of time. Bluestemprairie blog has pretty well documented this fact in a series of pieces.
This will probably garner Parry a few bucks so he can keep Brodkorb fed and housed. There are plenty of voters who are gonna' lap this up and cut checks for the pizza boy from Waseca.
This has been brewing a long time. The child care opponents have some valid points. Unfortunately if you scratch the surface and look beyond you start to find organizations like the Freedom Foundation who want limited government and that leads you to the GOP.
So the child care people are now caught in a political chess game and it is no longer really about their issue but about the acumen of the lawyers on either side. Ergo I'm not so sure it is the Governor who has done the damage...
Parry and Brodkorb, what a pairing. Sounds like the 1st District is in for a show... Hee Haw comes to mind.

No one but us in the less than 1% knows the truth depth of this article.

Sutton says the money is coming in so does that mean the GOP will finally pay its overdue debts all around the state and counties? Fiscal responsibility, right GOP?
It would seem where the density was greatest is the region of progressive thought and politics.

Well delivered Mr. Grow. There is indeed a place for government in our society.

At what point will this nonsense coming from the GOP become totally repudiated. Ten years of tax reduction and we are still in the hole.
Reagan proved it, Pawlenty proved it; trickle down doesn't work!
As grandpa used to say sometimes you got to spend a buck to make a buck.

Gottwalt is NOT good for Minnesota as a society. He has no respect for the MN Constitution and open disregard for the disadvantaged among us.
I say he stands in open violation of his election certificate for his attempt to subvert the MN Bill of Rights on the issue of equality under the law.

Agreed.
