And what is to made of MPR getting local information about another two Mpls School Board members retiring before the Strib seemed to get the story ? Someone somewhere not happy with Strib reporting of Mpls School news ? Or is MPR now the goto news source ?

Seventy-five people showed up "including several school board directors and district administrators." No teachers and few parents ? No interest or something else ? Concerned ?

So Minnapolis did not settle with teachers thereby losing money and it also will lose some of it's cash reserve at least temporarily with the latest move from the state ? Wow ! Something does not add up ! How much was the cash reserve ? And was not a referendum just passed which raised the taxes to us Minneapolis homeowners and residents as whom I speak. So what's happening with the money that shoud be used for what the taxes were raised to address ? Weren't this education and it's expenses...

It's clear to me that he Strib is fighting for market share. I first check news on MPR then to MnPost. The Strib comes after NYTimes. Washington Post, Democracy Now, Funny or Die, and CNN. I long ago tossed in a subscription to the Strib. What has happened there is heartbreaking.

How am I to believe this will not mean more of the same ? The teacher's contract is not settled in Minneapolis. How well have efforts by the board to work with district staff gone ? An maybe the stack of email is not there because people have just given up with the hope of being listened to !

Strib network might be gourging in the techo sphere but of all the news I link to it takes the longest dl time and screen refresh pace of all. I'm actually becoming quite inpatient with the stablity and I have cable service. Over kill in my view.

You can't be neutral on a moving train as someone wiser then I said. This organization contributed to the ruination of people's lives. Isn't that enough to take a stand ?

Wow ! Teachers, cops, firefighters service providers generally are all getting screwed in this round of budget cuts, unallotments, tax cuts or whatever the process is being called by whomever. So here we are looking at workers who are delivering services for that good of us all being the most vulnerable yet bing expected to providethe most service. If the concept of wellness and value added are not quickly revisited or reconstituted I'd expect more metaphorical flights to go beyond their...

And big government is the problem ? Seems to me buying things on as my father used to say, "the cheap" is what is causing the problem. We all know you get what you pay for as long as it's applied to being in it for yourself. We can economize on the other guys back.
