Minnesotans definitely take the short cut, and they get it from their Scandinavian ancestry. In fact, the Swedish do the same by saying "Ska du folja med?" which is translated "Shall you follow with?". Maybe we get our highly tech savvy instincts from our ancestry. After all, Sweden is highly tech savvy as well.

Great, I hope it works out. I guess we'll have to wait to find out. "Double" U.S. Exports by 2015? I guess if there is a people who could do it they would be Americans, but that's an amazingly huge number and I think Obama was being over zealous when he made that goal. Besides, what is he going to do? Start forcing people to produce more? The only thing he can really do to make that happen is have an expansionary policy which kind of seems counter democrat. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

I totally agree with you John. I think there are a lot better things that State money could go towards. I really don't like the idea of state funding for entertainment purposes, althought it might have a positive impact on businesses surrounding that area. This will in no way improve my bottom line, or the bottom line of many other Minnesotans. If the Saints need a new Stadium I think there are other ways of achieving that.

Dayton should stay out of the tax payers pocket on this one...

I'm glad I read things like this. It reminds me what irresponsible spending leads to. I can think of a few projects here in the South Metro I would consider irresponsible. 1. Burnsville's Arts Center that was a complete failure and the beautification of Cedar (the bridge to no where) in Apple Valley. Things like that make my gut curdle and my heart wrench. I guess I have to pound the idea into my head more and more that we just need a smaller Government. Less Control. Less Spending. I know...

I totally agree with this. That's why the city of Seattle is giving its residents to opt out of the Yellow Pages and is now being sued by 2 major print ad companies. Unfortunately I signed a contract with a major print ad company for $3,000/year and haven't seen 1 customer yet. I sell websites and SEO services and SHOULD HAVE KNOWN better..Oh well!

oh oh! I want to see the russian meerkat's attempt at stealing business from a website! And the British Advertising Awards sounds interesting too. I might have to head down there to Minneapolis and see some of that action!

You found a way? What Google mining? That sort of hacking has been around for ages. However, it's a great business idea and I'm sure it's worth it for your clients! Good job..

"lame duck governor" because he slashed the arts budget? I would say that him slashing the arts budget makes him the opposite of a lame duck governor - he is DOING something to make this a better place to live. Not doing something and sitting by and watching would have made him lame duck..

Wow, huge upset for the Tea Party, way to go! We need a good third party.

It's helpful if it's your job. If it's not your job then you should have no business being on Facebook chatting with friends. It's like calling a buddy at work and having some good ol idle banter. It doesn't help a business AT all.
