Posted on 09/02/10 at 08:33 pm in response to Why AP spiked the 'Emmer son drinking' story that City Pages ran

So the moral of the story is:

Conservative candidate kids, fair game no matter how minor (or in the case of Palin, feel free to just make stuff up).

Liberal kids, hands off (Obama).

Love liberal consistency.

This website is in serious need of alternative views. It is nothing but a local version of HuffPo or Daily Kos. Liberals agreeing with liberals. No alternative voices need apply.

"Wedge" issue: Any issue a liberal believes in that they know the public opposes them on and they don't want to talk about it.

"King Timmy Pawlenty" - The slur by liberal nutbars who won't call Obama the same even though he's actually acted like someone wanting to be a King. See also "hypocrites".

Madore needs to say this to raise money. Everyone knows, anyone who's telling the truth, that she has no chance. None. Zero. Nada. She knows it, you know it, people with money know it. It's all about raising hopes for people with checkbooks.

Posted on 08/14/10 at 09:03 am in response to Fox9's Jeff Passolt versus Clyde Bellecourt

Bellecourt is a racist white hater whose views are all filtered through that bias. The fact is, no one cares what he thinks and only shows up occasionally when it suits his ego.

Target did overreact, as did the bigoted woman who went after them and still calls them "anti-gay" for their donation. Please.

Also, love the assumption by liberals that anyone who believes that marriage has a definition and has for six thousand years (and believed in by the vast majority of people including Barack Obama) is a "bigot". Like the term "racist", throwing around terms like this to disparage anyone you disagree with dilutes the term from when it's really needed. This...

...and MinnPost is looking more and more like the confused shill for liberal politicians.

Look at the home page right now and it's full of liberal writers either shilling for DFL'ers or ripping on the GOP. I remember having Joel Kramer telling me this wouldn't become a liberal website but would be "balanced".

I ask: Where is the balance? Why are there so many liberal writers and not one real conservative?

Don't diss me for asking (as I expect to see, if this gets...

Posted on 06/17/10 at 01:36 pm in response to Oberstar points to road problem: a shortage of federal gas-tax revenue

Any liberal who doesn't think they're paying enough is always able to send in a check. You want to pay $8 a gallon, no one is stopping you. Until you do, it's all just talk. Anyone with a half a brain knows it would kill the economy. Of course, given most of those clamoring for this want us back with horses and buggies.

I think it's kind of funny to consider Emmer a "purist" when he's considered a pro-choicer as running mate. If anything that demonstrates a willingness to compromise principles just to win. It might be good politics but it's sure not the definition of a "purist".

And he does have anger issues. Worse, put an angry Emmer up against a DFL majority in both houses and you think you have gridlock now? Just wait.

Posted on 04/14/10 at 03:41 pm in response to Dems slam Bachmann over rhetoric, warn of extremism

Maybe some day we'll see an "article" on MinnPost about a liberal and their extremism. Say, Betty or Keith.

I'm not holding my breath.

The idea of Betty whining about extremism is the perfect example of kettle and black.
