I am an experienced software developer (over 18 years experience) but even though there are software development jobs, no one wants to hire me as I am over 50.
I have taught advanced mathematics abroad but I have to sit through worthless educator (pedagogy) courses so I can be licensed. Clearly, the USA is being run by idiots and it does not look like this will change any time soon.
