Charlie - Great article about the Lilac Way spirit and its relevance to today's situation. There is a groundswell of interest in this area and the thinking behind it. I do think that the restoration of the beehives helps keep this spirit alive, if only as a reminder. I launched the Campaign to Restore Lilac Way to help restore lilacs to this historical section of Highway 100 through community sponsorship, and educate people about that original spirit.
