I hate how corporations can set the compensation for their own employees. Lets get the government involved so we can all be paid the same!
Yes, that would be my attempt at sacrasm... similar to the headline introduction of the above excerpt.
Some of us don't "expect" a 2-5% profit (frankly I'd be happy with a 5% margin right now) it happens in a tough economy. How the DFL majority expects this to mesh with a job creation legislative agenda is beyond me.
As an inaugural member of Connecting Nicollet County, Cati showed great leadership in helping establish and run this program and was a shining example of what she taught! It was an absolute great civic experience and pleasure to get to know her. I commend this program and encourage all who have the opportunity to participate in a similar program.
Tom, I am not familiar with the other Extension leadership groups, but there were several of us in our 20's and our group's ages were all...
Do we have some inferiority complex that we are worried about the NY Times writes about us? Good grief, let's grow a spine.
Yep, if it weren't for those darn restaurant owners swinging their bags of money around. I have never heard of anyone making a fortune out of owning a restaurant. Here in St. Peter we just had a wonderful, higher end restaurant go under, the restaurant business is not for faint of heart. The restaurant industry is a perfect example of how the minimum wage laws do not work.

While this might be a bit of an over simplification (or maybe wrong all together) I believe that the best energy policy shifts from being top heavy on this list to using more on the bottom end. Nuclear has issues, we have all seen that in the past 30 years. However, the...
I think we can play the what if game quite a bit in this race. However, I always kind of lumped Pawlenty and Huntsman in the same category. How are we to know if Pawlenty would face the same issues that the Huntsman campaign is also facing.
Very fascinating as usual. I, myself, have been one of those former KQ listeners... there's only so many times a person can hear Jet Airliner by Steve Miller without going crazy...
Very good, David. Very good. Reading the Times piece was the most captivating piece I have seen all year. Mr. Coleman is correct, it is a slight embarrassment to the TC media, however with the economics I understand that dedicating a reporter for 6 months just isn't feasible. I believe Mr. Russo did have an extended piece in the Strib, but after reading the Branch articles it makes Russo's piece look like a 5th grade writing assignment. So if there is still anyone who hasn't read the...
