I think you made a mistake in your article. You said Wright County was the most conservative county in the state, don't you mean the most homophobic, racist county in the state? I live in Anoka County in which most people are homophobic, and racist but not as bad as Wright.
I have been calling for a law that requires all candidates who run for election to have a complete background check done by an independent company. Kline however is prime example of why we should also do pre-candidate testing like employers do, in Klines case he should have been given a common sense test. I ask him and he never responded why would you vote for a measure that would restart deportations of illegal immigrants who were brought into the country as children. I asked him to provide...
Every taxpayer in the state should be mad at this. We are the employers and pay their salaries, we have a right to know what is going on. Every taxpayer in the state should write their representatives and demand that all info in this case be made public.
I certainly feel for the family of the victims at that shooting, but as a former police officer who has moved on to achieve a PhD in Human Resources, I have reviewed that shooting many times. It is classical case of an employer created event. Everything surrounding the termination and pre-termination of the shooter was handled incorrectly. The company did not have a single HR Resource to assist in dealing with the employee. By HR Resource I mean an EAP program, an HR Manager or Consultant....
The GOP needs to find a new face for the 6th District. After Bachmann anyone named in the article won't be trusted by people. Also the news keeps saying it is a GOP leaning district, but I bet there are thousands of people like myself who have long been Republicans, will vote for Graves in a heartbeat if the GOP tries to run some recycled politician with an unsavory past.
As I have said before I have been a Republican for close to 50 years. The new group of Republicans talk about getting their message out. They talk about reducing spending to balance the budget, but when one asks them for specifics they either don't reply or they reply in a condescending way that doesn't answer the question. The email I got back from several GOP legislators when I emailed them a couple of years ago and told them that the gay marriage amendment would back fire on them and they...
Whether it is State of Federal, the Republicans are elite egotists with almost complete ignorance of the wishes of their constituents, controlled by very rich contemptible, detestable businessmen, who have only their own interests in mind. The Republican legislators are fearfully gutless and will not go against the wishes of the rich. They have some demented idea that at some point these rich puppeteers who are pulling their strings will allow them into their inner circle. The Republicans...
In the eyes of the state their is no difference between a Religious Marriage and a civil marriage. Either way you have to get a marriage license that person performing the marriage has to approved to do it. When a friends son got married in a Church here in the twin Cities, they had his wife's brother who is minister in a different state preform the public ceremony, but the local Pastor had to perform a civil ceremony because her brother wasn't approved to perform marriages in MN.
We don't need tests, we need parents who care.
I agree with you, she is party advocate and will vote the way the party tells her, not what her constituents want.
