It doesn't make any difference to the average taxpayer what then minimum wage is, they are going to pay for it one way or the other. The current minimum wage is 12,792.00 per year. That would qualify almost anyone for some type of welfare assistance. If they raise it not as many would qualify, but prices might go up. Either way the taxpayers pay for it, either through some type of welfare or increase in prices.

The only thing he has on his web site is a place to donate money. Anybody who is stupid enough to donate to a pig and a poke should remember the saying, "a sucker comes along every minute". How does McFadden expect anyone to vote for him on the basis of I am not Franken. I have been a Republican for over 50 years and the fact the Franken did not embarrass MN is important because we still have Bachmann who has now decided to attack Jews. So I predict as predicted a couple of years ago after...

I wish I had said this.

Call it like it is. Social conservative is too nice a term. They are racist, discriminatory and Machiavellian. They are only concerned about pushing there outdated and unscientific Christian values on the other 350 recognized religions whether they want it or not. Most of them actually believe that Muslim is a race of people rather than a large group of people from many backgrounds and races that practice the religion of Islam. They are not much different than the small group of Muslims who...

Dette er en norsk som ikke er fornøyd i det hele tatt med Tsunis. Han innrømmer at han har aldri vært der og fornærmet regjeringen, men verre han fornærmet kongen ved å ikke engang vite hva slags regjering Norge har.

(This is one Norwegian who is not happy at all with Tsunis. He admits he has never been there and insulted the government, but worse he insulted the King by not even knowing the type of government Norway has.)

I think they should change it also. Washington is such a terrible town with terrible people the name of the team would better served by calling themselves the Maryland Redskins.

This was good article, Mr. Fought is more forgiving person than me. Just yesterday on the Facebook page , I am Catholic and I voted NO, I did not call for Neinstedts resignation, I called for his arrest on prosecution on several felony charges. All of which are clearly spelled out in the MN Criminal Code. I think it was still a good article by Mr Fought.

A small number of elite Republicans who have no clue what people like myself think, endorse somebody who is out of touch with the voters, and then they think the rest of us should vote for them. They did this with Emmer, that was a fiasco. They should open up the endorsing process to anyone who wants to get involved. I can't continue to vote for the Republicans when they no longer think like me. Now they have Emmer running in the 6th District where I live and he is the leading the candidate...

If they hadn't have caved in an put it downtown where you will never attract large businesses, they wouldn't be crying. They have nobody to blame but themselves. They should have purchased the old arsenal. The city of Green Bay got Cabela's to pay 150 million dollars to lease land from the city so they could build next to lambeau Field. Now Wal Mart wants to build there and is going to pay the same price. The city is asking 200 million dollars for the naming rights and 100 million per gate....

Posted on 10/26/13 at 09:22 am in response to Think you're good at driving and texting? You're not

Sometimes you have to prove it. I took my son to an empty parking lot several months ago. I set up two orange cones in the middle of the lot and had my son drive through them, I had them set about ten feet apart. I had him drive back to the starting point and told him to drive through the cones while sending me a text message. He veered way to the right the first time, The second time he made it through the cones, but had to correct himself twice and stop texting to do it. To make a long...
