I'm sorry, but this debate makes me angry because, and this is my own biased opinion, the reporters on this debate do not have the cold, hard facts. They only have what the journals are reporting on trial outcomes. But, I've yet to see data from the actuarial specifics inside the health insurers about the real costs of the PSA blood test (cheap) combined with the costs of biopsies (expensive) in light of the percentages of false positives from the PSA test. Also, the costs of implants, drugs...
