Target is moving to a customer-management system that is modeled after the airlines?? You're kidding, right? Who in their right mind would model ANYTHING after the way people are treated in air travel?? Target, I don't know what your management team is smoking, but whatever it is, they need to stop before you drive yourselves out of business. There is absolutely no reason why gay men and women shouldn't be allowed to marry. Government has no business telling people who they can or cannot marry. If churches choose to discriminate against gays based on their "values," that's their right, I guess. But government has no business imposing religious values on its citizens. With more than half of all marriages ending in divorce--with more than 50% of Americans choosing not to marry at all--with multiple marriages and mixed families now...

It was fun to read this account of a journalist's adventures with Michelle Bachmann. As a 6th CD resident, I have been embarrassed by her since the day she was elected. She abuses the right to be crazy. Now, thanks to Chris Matthews, the whole nation has seen what a whack-job she is. If this isn't enough to send my neighbors to the polls with a serious case of abject humiliation, I don't know what it would take. BTW, I definitely think "misconstruification" should be in the next edition...
