I should clarify, in case anybody misreads my passage on Jim Hagedorn: He did not say that the carpet bombing by liberals was scattering deer faces all over Wisconsin. I'm still not clear on what scattered the deer faces.
He was the tie-breaker in the sense that he was the last uncertain vote.

Are you referring to the Minnesota Independent when you ask for a blog column? Their focus is on Minnesota news, so they wouldn't have discussed Obama's missed votes as a representative of Chicago.
But we're comparing apples to oranges anyway. Bachmann has not missed 20 votes because she was campaigning for higher office (McCain also missed votes when he was campaigning -- he missed 70 more votes than Obama). Bachmann missed them because she priotitized appearing in the media over...
Just an update: I emailed Rep. Bachmann this morning, but have yet to hear back. If I do get a response, I shall post it.
