Enjoyed the review and thought she was great. What wasn't mentioned that was key to me was her band. Gerry Leonard on guitar and Mike Visceglia on bass were her band. Leonard has recently been guitarist and musical director for David Bowie and Visceglia has been her bassist for over 20 years. They played the hell out of her tunes. I could not agree more. We only saw the first set, but I said to myself, "I got my money's worth (Dakota A Train member)" midway through the first song. You stated exactly how I felt about Gerald Clayton. I was totally dissappointed he wasn't there until Sullivan Fortner played his first notes, and after that my partner and I just said "Wow, who's that piano player!!!?"
